I would suggest this to everyone looking to suppress an AK and not wanting to buy a dedicated AK suppressor Otherwise it is a great product, paired well with the KNS adjustable gas piston for suppressed fire. If there was a way to cut a small detent on this converter it would be more perfect than it already is. The only issue I had was the AK heating up to the point where the muzzle device loosened and could be threaded Had no issue with concentricity and everything worked flawlessly. I use all of griffin armaments products & this is no exceptionīought this for mounting my Sandman-S on my PSA AK104 GF4. Easy to install, accurate, and well made. 5/8x24 muzzle device then mounted easily onto the adapter. Worked perfectly, threaded easily onto the pre-existing 24x1.5 threads. shims not included but may be utilized to time attached muzzle devices.It is the buyers responsibility to k now the thread pitch of their AK type rifle/pistol. 27mm wrench flats are provided for ease of installation.ġ/2x28 units are compatible with 5.45 and 5.56mm 24mm AK's, while 5/8x24 units are 7.62x39 and lesser caliber compatible. We recommend 50ft lbs of torque for installation, and qualified gunsmith installation and alignment checks prior to suppressor use. For rifles that have clean muzzle faces that are perpendicular to the bore, this will permit excellent alignment to occur.
